In addition to my work as a somatic practitioner and yoga teacher, I have over 15 years’ experience as a health and science journalist, covering a range of health, science, and medical topics for print and online publications, as well as interviewing doctors, researchers, celebrities, and other experts.
My work has appeared in Medscape, Healthline, Yoga Journal, alive, Science & Nonduality, and other publications.

Before starting my careers in journalism, yoga teaching, and somatic work, I did laboratory/clinical research and research administration at universities in Philadelphia and Portland, Oregon, including in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Drexel University.
I have a master’s degree in science education from Drexel University, and bachelor’s degrees in biology, music, and writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
